ABOUT US
The vision of Skate Westwood is to work with the local community and government to develop a skatepark in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. In addition, we hope to enrich the lives of children and families in the community by providing skateboard clinics for everybody to attend. Westwood has the highest rate of childhood obesity and this is partially due to the fact that the neighborhood only has 15% of the recommended park space by the city of Denver. By developing the Westwood skatepark we hope to contribute to the overall health of the community.
